This year, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the European Regions will be jointly hosting the kick-off event of the European Cybersecurity Month.

This 12th edition is devoted to social engineering – in other words, attempts by hackers to exploit human errors or human behaviour.

Engaging discussions, live demonstrations and interactive training sessions will take place at our premises, in building VMA, for staff of the EU institutions, bodies and agencies. In addition, the event will be webstreamed.

2 October: Opening session and panel discussions with speakers from different EU Institutions, Bodies and Agencies.

3 October: Discussion on realities, challenges and best practices of cities and regions with contributions from local and regional leaders

4 October: Discussions highlighting the perspective and issues faced by civil society organisations.

Onsite attendance is reserved for staff of the EUIBAs. Online participation will be possible via webstreaming for everyone interested.

Don't miss this opportunity to stay ahead in the field of cybersecurity!
