The 2nd meeting (of the 8th Term of office) of the CoR Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget (COTER) will take place at the European Committee of the Regions, Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels room JDE 52 on Thursday 13 March 2025.

At this meeting, COTER members will discuss and decide on the 2025 Work Programmes of the COTER commission and of the European Cross-Border Platform.

COTER members will vote on the following opinions:

"Metropolitan regions and functional urban areas as socio-economic drivers of sustainable investment in the 2020-2027 Cohesion policy framework" by rapporteur Carmine PACENTE (IT/renew E.).

"Cohesion policy as a key engine in achieving EU goals and reforms: how to further build on its performance-based approach while respecting decentralisation, partnership and multilevel governance", by rapporteur Isabelle BOUDINEAU (FR/PES).

"The role of regions and cities in the next European Affordable Housing Plan" by rapporteur Jaume COLLBONI CUADRADO (ES/PES).

COTER members will also have the opportunity to engage in a debate on MFF post-2027.
