In alignment with the EU's objectives of enhancing economic, social, and territorial cohesion among member states, the Lombardy Region aims to examine strategies to address the evolving challenges related to competitiveness (reconversion, procurement and global supply chains, defence industry, tariffs, competition and protection of championships), ecological and digital transitions (Clean Industrial Deal, energy efficiency, AI, research and technological innovation), and agriculture.
The event will provide a valuable opportunity to compare the needs of Lombardy's stakeholders with the priorities and initial decisions taken by the European Commission, approximately one year after it took office.
The aim is to strengthen the capacity for cooperation between regional institutions, public and private stakeholders, and representatives of the European Parliament, the Council, the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions who is hosting this event.
