This EU Local Dialogue is promoted by Anne Rudisuhli (FR/Renew) in Aix-en-Provence as part of the European Day of Languages 2026. The event, organised in partnership with the Maison de l'Europe de Provence and the City of Aix-en-Provence, is expected to bring together around 450 pupils from schools across the Bouches-du-Rhône region, as well as members of the public.
The dialogue will celebrate Europe's linguistic and cultural diversity through a series of interactive games, workshops and educational activities led by around twenty European bi-national associations representing countries including Germany, Italy, Spain, Romania, Czechia, Greece, Portugal, Sweden and Poland. Designed primarily for primary and lower secondary school pupils, the event aims to promote Europe and raise awareness of European languages and cultures, helping young people discover connections between languages and learn about the rich cultural heritage of EU countries. The programme will also feature musical performances by young volunteer musicians and conclude with a conference on Ukrainian language and culture.
