A series of participative heritage-led regeneration actions, developed in the framework of the European project H2020 ROCK, have transformed three underused and "grey" spaces in the heart of the city centre into green areas for residents, students and visitors to enjoy the cultural heritage of the area. They also provide pleasant places for cultural events and attract new interests and investments which are a contrast to the negative effects of climate change.
