The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Commission's Directorate General of Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion (DG EMPL) cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming event entitled "Social innovation for zero long-term unemployment - towards an EU-wide response ".
The event is organised on the occasion of the European Commission's launch of the call for proposals for zero long-term unemployment projects. It will feature a round table discussion on "Working together at the EU and at local level – why it is important" with the participation of Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights Nicolas Schmit, MEPs , CoR members and other high-level speakers. The session will be followed by a technical presentation on "Taking action – how to benefit from the EU funding opportunities" for supporting local zero long-term unemployment initiatives and job guarantee schemes.
Interpretation EN-FR-ES will be provided. The event will be webstreamed.
