This EU Local Dialogugue, organised by Pavel Branda (CZ/ECR) will bring together local and regional politicians from the three sides of the border, alongside representatives of academia and European institutions, to discuss the future development of this cross-border area.
The discussion will focus on how to strengthen cross-border coordination and governance, in particular through the establishment of a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) and the preparation of a common trilateral strategy bringing together different sources of funding. The moderated panel discussion is expected to conclude with the signing of a memorandum on the preparation of a joint EGTC and common strategy.
The programme brings together representatives from Czechia, Germany and Poland, as well as the European Commission, the Technical University of Liberec and the Association of European Border Regions.
