Piedmont Region, in its capacity as Chair of ESRA – a political alliance bringing together 35 European Regions – co-organises the 2025 annual General Assembly, which will be held at the premises of the European Committee of the Regions.
The Assembly will gather both political and technical representatives from the member Regions and will be moderated by Thomas Wobben, Director for Legislative Works.
The core of the agenda is the adoption of a Position Paper that, in light of the revision of the EU Chips Act and the new MFF, calls for a recognized role of regions in shaping a strong European semiconductor ecosystem and proposes actionable recommendations that integrate regional priorities into EU-level strategies.
