The Three Seas Initiative (3SI) is a project launched in 2015 by the presidents of Poland and Croatia, currently bringing together 13 Central European countries, whose strategic goal is to preserve and strengthen the unity of the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic area.

Now entering its second decade, the 3SI has solidified its position as a key instrument for enhancing transatlantic ties, both in the political and economic spheres.

The event will focus on the role of regions, academics, and EU institutions in developing cooperation within the format. Attention will be given the topics such as higher education institutions in shaping EU policy towards the 3SI, ways in which the EU can support efforts to address infrastructure gaps or 3SI as a forward-looking, generational project.

Speakers will include diplomats, head of the regions from Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine, academics and representatives of EU institutions.
