Mieczysław Struk (PL/EPP), Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship and Member of the CoR, will present the security issues managed directly or indirectly by the Pomorskie Regional Government, including the role of European Union financial support in ensuring citizens’ safety. A representative of Starogard Gdański county will complement this perspective by addressing the impact of EU policies and measures on safety at the local level.

The debate will be followed by a moderated discussion with participating young people, who will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance and engage directly with policymakers in the room.
