ENVE works in fields related to the European Green Deal, which include the environment biodiversity, circular economy, zero pollution, climate change, energy, and space policies.
Following the EU Green Deal objective of creating synergies between the new clean energy networks and transport corridors, the Rhine Hydrogen Integration Network of Excellence (RH2INE) is an initiative of the province Zuid-Holland and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia. RH2INE is taking the first step towards a zero-emission transport corridor by developing the right conditions and infrastructure for the use of hydrogen for the inland transport chain
RH2INE seeks to realise market-ready hydrogen applications along one of the EU’s oldest core network corridors, powered by the first sustainable and interoperable gas and electricity networks in the world.
